We’ve worked with Magento since 2007 when it was in beta, run high revenue Magento sites ourselves and worked with large Magento onmi-channel retailers in both Australia and in the US. It’s fair to say that Magento has always been a core specialty of ours here at Curata. But we get that all good things come to an end, and technology cannot afford to stand still. We are now also a Shopify Partner agency with Shopify Plus experience and we are advocates of Shopify and consider it the new benchmark for reliable and modern eCommerce.

US based GladGirl has continually pushed for growth and operational efficiency. The need to improve the technology and strategy has been driven by pressures on multiple fronts including new competitors entering the market and macro economics.

Is Shopify suitable for Enterprise sites?
Yes! Shopify Plus is Shopify’s enterprise solution offering flexibility and features that you are accustomed to on open source Magento.
When is Magento "end of life"?
Magento 2.3 is officially unsupported as of September 2022, which means no more security patches or improvements to the version, potential compatability issues with marketplace extensions and PCI compliance issues.
How long does a migration project take?
This depends ont he requirements and in particular the number of integrations and the size of the product catalog. Very simple migrations can be done in as little as 4-6 weeks with typical project being around 8-12 weeks in duration.
